Acquisition Of Makor K-9’s Cruise Line Business

NEW YORK, NY, March 9, 2006 -- American Detection Technologies, Inc. (AMDETECH), a homeland security company and national leader in contraband detection services using highly-trained canine teams, today announced the acquisition of Makor K-9 LLC’s cruise line business.

 

Under the terms of the transaction, AMDETECH immediately takes over Makor K-9’s current working canine contracts with Princess Cruise Lines, Crystal Cruises, and Metro Cruise Services, as well as all other current and future contracts.  Additionally, Makor K-9 President and Founder Mark Rispoli, who is based in Napa, California, is joining AMDETECH as its new VP, Cruise Services, and will have a seat on the AMDETECH Board of Directors.

Makor K-9, established in 1985, is one of the most advanced K-9 companies in the United States.
